People around us

We have two sets of people arounds us…. they are the people who tells what we want to hear and the people who tells what we need to hear, in spiritual terms we have people in our lives who feed our flesh and the people who feed our spirit.

Telling us what we want to hear/feeding our flesh is only a temporary satisfaction and will fade away and we will want it over and over again, telling us what we need to hear/feeding our spirit will carry us on into our destiny.

There was a lady who wanted a relationship with a guy really badly and she asked several of her friends what there thoughts were and out of all her friends only one told her what she needed to hear, but in the end she went with what she wanted to hear only to be hurt by the guy in the end. A lot of us go with the group because we figure they all saying the same thing they must be right, but that one maybe  our lifesaver but we ignore that one.

How many times have we listen to the devil tell us what we wanted to hear, you can have that last piece of cake, you can keep seeing that married man, you can cheat on your taxes, etc. And God is telling you what you need to hear, leave the cake ( you trying to lose weight & be healthy), leave that married man alone(he is not yours), stop lying on your taxes.

Take a evaluation of your friends/family and see who is feeding you what, is it want or need.

God will always tell you what you need to hear, Satan will always tell you what you want to hear.

To succeed in life and in our relationships we must have people around us that are wise and competent. We need people around us that will feed our spirit and help us grow in God and will guide us to fulfilling God’s plan for our lives.
