Loss

We all have experience some form of loss, a love one passing, a house, a car, a friendship etc. How we feel about that loss varies, some get depressed, some are ok, some use it as a experience and keep moving, other stay in neutral mood, etc.

In 2015 within 4 months I lost the two most important people in my life, we all have been there and it is hard especially when I want to hear their voice, when I began to feel depressed or down about them being gone, I began to think about all the funny times we had and I laugh and laugh and I share these stories with my family, because through me they get to know them better.

Life throws us some crazy situations, but how we respond to those situations determine everything. What ever your loss is don’t allow it to stop you from moving forward. yes I felt like doing nothing after I lost my 2 love ones, even though they are gone life still is moving on and we have to move with it, our family, friends depend on us.

I can only imagine how the 12 disciples felt when Jesus left them, how lost they must of felt, wondering what are we going to do now, our teacher is gone, our glue is gone from us. Jesus taught the 12 everything they needed to know to move forward, were they sad he was gone yes, but they had to make a decision are we going to stay sad or move forward with what Jesus taught us.

Our loss has taught us somethings, take the time to list what you learn from that loss and take those lessons and move forward. You will always remember and have memories of what you loss, but the loss is not meant for you stay in a box, come out and move!
