We have distractions come at us everyday and sometimes we give in to those distractions and before we know it we are trying to get back focused on what we working on before the distraction. As we continue this walk with the lord distractions are going to come our way there is no way around it, but the way we can handle it is the way Jesus did, he gave us the perfect guide……..
Matthew 4:1-11 The temptation of Jesus
Jesus was led into the wilderness by the spirit to be tempted by the devil, and the devil took full advantaged stating “If you are” and Jesus came back with “It is written”. So when the tempting was over the devil left Jesus. So when the devil bring those distractions your way to get upset, worried or drops that guilt trip then you fight back with the word.
We defeat the devil with the word, every time we speak the word the devil goes down, he can’t fight against the true word of God. Watch out he will twist the word like he did Eve in the garden and make you believe he is telling the truth. I want to encourage you to read and study the word of God and get it in your heart so you will be better equipped to fight the devil , remember his job is to kill, steal and destroy.
Once the word goes out and up the devil goes down!!!
